National Apprenticeship Week 2023 – Skills for Life

National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) has begun and is the 16th year for this annual event and is set to be the biggest one yet!

This week-long celebration of apprenticeships is a great opportunity for businesses across the country to highlight the incredible work their apprentices are doing and inspire others to start their careers.

You’ve probably guessed it, CCSS Fire & Security Ltd are extremely passionate about NAW and believes that the young and talented shape the future of business.

We offer numerous apprenticeship programs and in the last three years, we have recruited 17 apprentices, who have been recognised across the board for their accomplishments. This includes Mason Johnson, who recently completed his Apprentice Warehouse Operative program and came second for the EA-RS Group Apprentice Award 2022.

We’re proud of the careers we have helped develop over the years and we are keen to continue bringing enthusiastic and talented individuals into our business.

Skills for Life:

Each year, National Apprenticeship Week has a specific theme, and for NAW 2023 it is ‘Skills for Life.’

This theme represents the lifelong skills and knowledge that apprenticeship and training programs help individuals develop, to build a successful career.

CCSS Fire & Security believe apprenticeship programs are a great alternative to other education options such as university. They help you earn whilst you learn and build skillsets from real-world experiences.

Current Positions:

As it is National Apprenticeship Week, we would like to use this opportunity to announce that CCSS Fire & Security are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Purchase Legal Administrator.

This is a great opportunity for a young and talented individual to kick-start a career in purchasing, with a scheme that will provide you with lifelong skills.

Hear from our Apprentices:

“I am currently completing a Business Level 3 Administration Apprenticeship Program. I started this program in January 2022 and since then, CCSS Fire & Security have been extremely helpful with my development. I have gained a lot of knowledge and skills which I benefit from daily in my job role. I have made massive improvements and progressed a lot since the beginning with the help of my peers and would recommend considering an apprenticeship program here at CCSS.”
