Conventional Fire Alarm Systems
This excellent range of electronic sounders provides very high sound outputs for a low power consumption. Their robust ABS construction and compact size make them ideal for use in fire, intruder and other hazard warning systems.
The range consists of four units; two standard units, a sounder base and a bedhead unit (which can all be installed to conform to BS5839:Part1) the only difference being their housing and application.
The two standard units differ with base size. For hidden wiring, the low profile base unit allows cable entry from behind. Where surface wiring entry is required, the deep base unit allows conduit entry from behind or side.
The bedhead unit is designed for installations such as hotels where ideally, one unit would be installed in every bedroom. The alarm sounder base is an innovative product designed for use as a ceiling sounder within the fire alarm system. The sounder provides the opportunity to reduce installation costs because of the common fixing points for wiring.
The electronic circuitry is encapsulated in epoxy resin making it water resistant to a standard of IP65.
The standard unit offers any one of 24 distinctly different sound outputs which can be programmed on site by means of the five dual-in-line slide switches.
The bedhead unit and sounder base are supplied for operation in sounds 3 & 14.
