Before entering any tenant’s premises the engineer will show the tenant their photographic ID and allow them to verify their identity with the client or ourselves if they feel it is necessary.
CCSS requires its representatives to conduct themselves in a polite, honest, friendly and courteous manner at all times. All employees and sub-contractors are therefore issued with the CCSS Code of Conduct which details how they are expected to act when present in a resident’s home or client's business premises.
CCSS engineers are all fully experienced in working with the elderly, infirm, vulnerable adults and children. On a daily basis their work involves working in care homes, hospitals, women’s institutions, Homes in Multiple Occupation, residences of those with changing behaviour and Educational establishments.
All engineers are Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked to an enhanced level in order to protect the vulnerability of the customers we provide services to. All other employees are standard CRB checked.
