Senator II sensors introduce a new concept to sensor design and have been developed with ease of maintenance and pleasing aesthetics very much in mind. The three-piece sensors comprise a termination plate, an electronics module and a chamber module. This Chamber Exchange system has been introduced to ensure that once the chamber module has become too dirty for the sensor to use, the panel will indicate that it requires replacing. All the user has to do is simply remove the chamber and replace it with a new one.
Senator II also introduces the combined Sensor/Sounder. Both Optical and Heat sensors are available with an in-built sounder. Not only is the Sensor/Sounder extremely compact, but due to the low current consumption, it is possible to fit up to 125 units per loop.
When there is a need for systems larger than two loops, Senator II offers the ability to network up to 16 control panels, catering for very large sites with systems up to 32 loops.
